FAQ

Everything you need to know about your Le Kacaron! From choosing the right size to keeping it clean, here are the answers to the questions we get asked most often by our community.

Is Le Kacaron suitable for large dogs?

Le Kacaron was designed with small and medium-sized dogs in mind. We wanted to keep it compact enough to fit comfortably in your jacket pocket.

But with a capacity of 356 ml, there's actually plenty of room! Our own Labrador weighs 30 kg, and his poo fits in easily, usually with around 25% of the space still to spare.

We even have customers with 45 kg dogs who find it works perfectly for them. Ultimately, it depends on the size of your dog's poo, which can vary quite a bit depending on their diet.

Will Le Kacaron start to smell if I leave a full poo bag inside for a while?

Don't worry! Le Kacaron itself doesn't absorb the smell.

If you open it after a while, things might be a little whiffy inside, but the smell usually disappears within a few minutes.

Thanks to its odour-tight seal, unpleasant smells stay exactly where they belong: inside your Le Kacaron. 💩

Can I wash my Le Kacaron?

Absolutely! You can easily clean your Le Kacaron with warm water and a little washing-up liquid.

Just a little tip: Avoid scrubbing the logo too vigorously, as it may gradually wear off.

We wouldn't necessarily recommend putting your Le Kacaron in the dishwasher. Strongly coloured food residues, such as tomato sauce, can cause discolouration. That said, if you really need to, an occasional trip through the dishwasher is fine.

A gentle hand wash is still the best way to keep your Le Kacaron looking its best. 🫧

What's the best way to put a full poo bag into Le Kacaron?

Easy peasy! Here's how we do it:

  1. Pick up your dog's poo with a poo bag as usual.
  2. Gently squeeze out a little excess air from the bottom of the bag.
  3. Tie a knot and pop the bag into your Le Kacaron.
  4. Screw the lid on, and you're good to go!

And if a little bit of the bag sticks out around the edge? No drama! As long as the lid is properly screwed on, your Le Kacaron will stay sealed.

Hands free, happy nose, and off you go! 🐶

How do I carry my Le Kacaron?

However you like! Thanks to its handy clip, you can easily attach your Le Kacaron to your trousers, belt, dog lead, bag or rucksack.

Personally, I love popping mine straight into my jacket pocket. The only downside? Nobody gets to see how lovely it looks! 😍

Some colours are sold out. When will they be back in stock?

Wow, you lot are amazing! Some of our colours sold out much faster than we ever expected. 💕

But don't worry, more are already in production!

We're expecting our next delivery in early November. After that, all colours will gradually be back in stock, and hopefully in plenty of quantities this time!

Thank you so much for your patience and all your incredible support!

Help! My Le Kacaron is difficult to open. What should I do?

Don't panic! Your Le Kacaron isn't broken. 💕

With our first version, the screw thread can sometimes feel a little stiff at first. That's because we made a really tight seal one of our top priorities during development.

Here's a little trick: Just add a tiny bit of water or saliva around the rim, and the lid should turn much more easily.

After a few uses, the thread will usually loosen up naturally. Your Le Kacaron just needs a little breaking in!

Our tip: Always make sure the lid is sitting straight before screwing it on, and don't force it. That way, you and your Le Kacaron can enjoy plenty of happy walks together! 🐾

What is Le Kacaron made from?

Le Kacaron is made from polypropylene (PP), a robust, durable and recyclable plastic.

We're very aware of our responsibility towards the environment and want to produce Le Kacaron sustainably in the future. That's why we're working towards developing a version made from plastic derived from renewable raw materials. 🌱

Unfortunately, that's not quite possible for us yet, but we're working on it! Our goal is not only to make your daily dog walks a little more enjoyable, but also to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible. 💚
